Web 3 communities are like countries with no central authority. The native currency (crypto) powers the economy of these communities, just as the United States Dollar powers America.
The strength of a Web 3 community is tied to its infrastructure and utilities, just as the value of the Naira (Nigerian currency) is tied to crude oil.

Think of vertcoin as a country where you can connect with other community members, do business deals, and stand out as an OG by making the loudest noise, just as politicians and celebrities stand out in a country, hahaha.
The more recognized you are in a community, the more trust you gain and more connections you get. I am currently in the vertcoin community, and we have well-recognized persons starting with the developer (James Lovejoy) down to a popular investor, Aslan, who discovered the community and is working on every possible means to revive it.
You wouldn't know what's in store for you to be a Vertcoin community member until you join and connect with people in there.

Community is very important. being a strong member of a community is crucial to earn in Web 3 and create connections that will open doors.
You can't know what's going on in a country without visiting that country or accessing their media channels.
When I started gaining recognition in Web 3 is when I changed the way I view Web 3. I was only thinking Web 3 is all about trading, profits, airdrops, and tweet-to-earn. But I was wrong all this while.
I started viewing Web 3 the same way I view the real world.
Airdrops in Web 3 are like grants or freebies from the government of a country. Web 3 jobs are like opportunities within the community where you have to apply to prove your expertise before getting that job.
It is easier to get a job in a Web 3 community if you are a strong and well-recognized community member than it is for someone who is just joining the community.
Try to be a first-class citizen in every Web 3 community you find yourself. I can proudly tell you that I am a first-class citizen in the vertcoin community, which has earned me lots of real connections.
My next move is to make sure people transact with $VTC within the vertcoin community and also strengthen the community by onboarding more people.
